Mega wont download files in windows
· Hi, so I was browsing www.doorway.ru using Edge InPrivate. Everytime my download quota reached about 2 GB, Mega will cause my Edge to crash. I went to C:\Users\[MyUsernname]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge to search for Mega temporary download folder to make sure temporary files is deleted after InPrivate windows crashed/closed but I couldnt find anything, also Edge doesnt even have folder "File. · It still uses Cache File System Download. And it's not any better at cleaning up after itself, leaving its files around after download in the profile. Since this thread was about Vivaldi crashing in private mode, it wouldn't help anyway, as apparently the extension won't work in Private windows, even if explicitly allowed for www.doorway.ruted Reading Time: 6 mins. · In Windows 7 I tried to download those files using MEGACmd without success. It said Starting, Retrying. I solved the problem by identifying the files that were "pending" in the File Explorer MEGA folder and delete them. After this MegaSync started working fine again. I think the problem was that some of those files were corrupted in some way.
Answer (1 of 2): This worked for me, found the files at this location (C:\Users\PC\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\File System\), after "File System" you should see lots of folders with numbers, eg ,, , etc, check the most resent number, in my case it was , hope this. A GB download is fine but as soon as it's GB or greater, it won't work. Currently using b3 on Windows 10 and it's been like that as far back as I can remember. Happens to me all the time, especially, when syncing on a laptop that hasn't been used for a while at a time. The only solution so far, is to touch the files on the device I know they synced fine before, that kinda rattles it all up and the syncing then runs fine for a while - untill the next time this happens (i.e. when a laptop isn't used for a while and syncing then needs to work on a bit. In Windows Defender, you can also change Edge's SmartScreen to merely warn you when you are about to download a file it deems suspicious instead of it outright blocking it. Your download cannot proceed, because it would take you over the current free transfer allowance for your IP address. Your queued download exceeds the current transfer quota available for your IP address and could be interrupted before completion. Please consider subscribing to a MEGA Pro plan which will substantially raise your transfer quota.
